In this series, I will share with you the practices that align with this time of the year- SUMMER. July is the height of Pitta (fire and water) season. Usually, the temperatures achieve maximum levels in the middle of the month. As things heat up, it's key not to overexert ourselves. While we may feel indestructible, the body is actually tender this time of year.
Ayurveda wisely advises that we relax and cool ourselves in the summer. This series will support your body and mind to stay in harmony with the dynamic rhythms of the natural world.
We will target practices that release heat and stagnation along with draining excess heat from the head. They will support you on and off your yoga mat through intelligent movement and mindfulness to cultivate inner peace.
